Back in 1970s/80s the village tennis club decided that instead of playing tennis in the winter they would switch to cards.

Tug of War remains a popular activity in both competitive and informal settings and especially at our village events!

The Elder’s Club became the Good Companions Club in 1989. Did you join and enjoy their numerous outings? Do you know why it folded?

In 1966 the Benhall & Sternfield Elders’ Club was formed with donations from the Flower Show and County Welfare Committee.
